Really nice
This is the first time I used this stuff. It wasn't too difficult to put on. It protected it from germs and environmental stuff. It helped my tattoo not be so sensitive to water temperature or touching. Like when you get a tart and accidentally scratch it or bump into something, it didn't feel nearly as bad. I took it off in the shower. Was running my arm under warm water and slowly pulling in a downward motion not up and away, I kept it close to my skin. I didn't leave residue behind either. I was worried I would have a reaction but I'm happy I didn't. Once I took it off, I cleaned it and put on my aftercare lotion. It is still a bit flaky but not bad at all, only in a few spots.

Amazing
The film my tattoo artist uses causes me to have a reaction to the adhesive. I leave it on for 24 hours. I then wash with dial, moisturize and once dry I use this for the next 4 days untouched. Tattoo is completely healed when I remove it, and no irritation!!!

Stays in place
Had this placed for a large back tattoo and my husband for his forearm work. Stayed put perfectly for the full 3 days including showers. Take your time removing it though. Tattoo was well protected and healed beautifully.

Good stuff
It’s works well. The edges peeled up a little bit on my tattoo within the first 24hours but it’s still on 48 hours later. It didn’t really stick to my partners skin and ended up falling off in the first 24 hours(I think the position of their tattoo played a roll in that). Neither of us had a bad reaction to the adhesive. It has good thickness/thinness, very comfortable to wear. Great product for the price, I’m sure you could find better quality but it worked well for me.

tat tat tatted up
these things are nice. a little tricky to put on well, but once you do they are pretty water proof. also its great that you dont have to keep it moisturized or worry about it getting dirty. leave em on for a wk then peel off. you BARELY lose any of your ink and no scabs or dry skin

ADHESIVE WARNING!! DO. NOT. BUY
I bought the film for the healing of my first tattoo. It’s a pretty small calligraphy, tat—nothing crazy. Anyways, it was fine at first. It would shift a bit with my tattoo butter but I just simply cut the film a bit wider to grab onto the skin that WASNT saturated in ointment. That’s where the problem started. It began giving me a burning rash hours in . I had to take it off but at the same time I work in an environment that was pretty handsy so it was a risk of it having rub on fabrics since my tattoo is in my inner arm. I ordered another brand from a company that sells hypoallergenic film but the damage was done. I was lucky that my tattoo butter protected my ink from getting irritated, god bless but I IMMEDIATELY threw the film away. DO NOT BUY THIS!! THE GLUE WILL CHEMICALLY BURN YOU!!

Ah! Y es impermeable.

If they shipped it different.....
They ship this rolled so tight, that it makes using it difficult.I tried to roll it out and put some books on it to flatten it out. Didn't work. I had to have another person help me put this on my new tattoo and even then, we had to use more than half this roll. The clear plastic on the front is so rigid and rolled (from shipping) that as soon as you take off the backer, it wants to roll back up. Thus the second person to help that from happening. Even then, once you have it in place, that clear plastic is hard to get pressed down to stick to your skin.Once we finally got it to stick, when removing that clear protective on the front, it more or less peeled right off my skin. We tried two more times. The final time that we did get it to work, we took a hair dryer to it and melted it to my skin.I had showered, shaved, and completely dried that area. This also isn't my first time using a product like this to protect tattoos, but it was the first time I got some that was less than mediocre. I always thought it would be hard to screw this up, but here we are. It is protective, and it does work when you can get it on your skin. The process of getting there (between it being rolled so tight, not really adhering to my skin, and the front clear protective plastic not being malleable enough to form to your body prior to peeling) was why I deducted a few stars. Looking back, I would spend the extra money on a name brand that I have experience with and have known to work better.
