This is a very tasty steel cut oatmeal at a great price. This is the first time we bought this brand and will buy it again. There are no instructions on the package but here is I prepare it and it works every time: In a medium size pan add 3 cups of water with a pinch of salt, as soon as it starts to boil rapidly add a cup of oatmeal and reduce the heat to a rapid simmer. Let it cook uncovered until the water evaporates and the kernels are soft. We like it a little chewy, but you get the hang of it after cooking a few times. Serve it with molasses or brown sugar and whatever fruit is in season. With these measurements you can serve 3-4 people. I usually cook for two people and keep the leftover, in the fridge and zap it in the microwave (after adding a dash of water) next time, still tastes great. I have had a lot of steel cut oats before but none as delicious as this! Whole grains are a part of my daily diet & what yummy mornings I'm enjoying with Be Still Farms product. Looking into their organic hard red spring wheat & getting a grain mill & make my own bread 🍞. A+++ organic steel cut oats!

Liked these a lot. They are not quite as crunchy as others I have bought.. more of a nut consistency but very even. I make overnight oatmeal and they were good.

Ground a bit finer than the other brands we have tried... so it cooks a bit FINER as well!!!

This product was advertised as non-GMO, but there is no label on the actual product that verifies this. Will not order again.
