Access to power button is open, handy for fingerprint reading. Volume controls are a bit stiff but just enough to keep accidental pressing in pocket or satchel from happening. Covers phone hinge well with integrated fold cover. Hinge cover bumps out when phone is open and can act as prop for horizontal view or finger grips in hand. Laid down face up, it does tip phone towards screen top. Face down, the hinge cover makes for a better handle to pick it up. Bending the phone at almost every degree between flat and 90, the case just goes along. Purple colour combo has muted tones that are more hi-viz than black but not glaring. If you find holding 'naked' flip4 slippery, this helps a lot but it is bulkier than the unprotected slim lines. For me, this is a plus.
