This really just a coffee table book and is in no way on how to recover civilization. None the less, it is a fun book with great drawings, worth the money.

Excellent book. Definitely something cool for the collection. The art is great and, hey, even if society doesn’t collapse, its great for ideas for stories and overall creative experimentation.

so far I'm loving this book but sometime I feel like they could do better at explaining. Sometimes they are to verbal and I need some images to guide me like there is a part were they talk about useful plants and in the background of the page there are plants but they don't mention which one is which. aside from that the art style is amazing the topics are interesting the way is written is interesting. The prize is justified for the size and the information if you are someone interested in the topic and how stuff can be made out of scratch. If this docent interest you buy the digital version because is a lot of money.
