It is a great replacement and works perfectly out of the box. Batteries aren't included, but as soon as I put in the two AAA's required, the remote immediately connected to the receiver and I was in business - no programming needed! The weight of the remote and form factor are exactly like that of the original. The buttons are almost exactly identical, the replacement has a few more dedicated device buttons and a few buttons have different locations. I first looked online for an OEM Denon remote, but am happy with the GHUST as it was nearly $15 less than the OEM and works just as well as the original.
