Review: Great Product...Poor Inventory Management - I've ordered this product before and it works awesome to reduce gnat populations in my indoor potted plants (I tend to overwater). Unfortunately the ones I recieved upon reorder are month and a half past the best before use date. Waiting to see if the replacement is out of date as well. Will update if when I receive. Update 3-20: Had replacement to me in like 1 day. Date is good. Product is still excellent for gnat control!!! ## Features - ORGANIC & EFFECTIVE: Utilizes naturally occurring Steinernema feltiae nematodes that target fungus gnat larvae, root aphids, and the soil-dwelling stages of western flower thrips. - TAILORED FOR CONTAINER PLANTS: Ideal for 5-gallon pots and compatible with a range of growing media including peat, coir, rock wool, and vermiculite. - SUSTAINED ACTION: Nematodes are slowly released over 3-5 days, with reapplication every 10-14 days recommended to control successive pest generations. - SIMPLE APPLICATION: Just place the biodegradable bio-pouch directly on the soil at the plant’s base—no pre-mixing or special equipment needed. - INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT: Works effectively in rotational programs with conventional insecticides to help reduce pest resistance while safeguarding your plants. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B016OIKTN4 | | Best Sellers Rank | #348,828 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #598 in Beneficial Pest Control Insects | | Brand | The Environmental Factor | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 275 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00817504005000 | | Item Type Name | Lawn and Garden nematode product | | Item Weight | 12 ounces | | Liquid Volume | 5 gallons | | Manufacturer | The Environmental Factor Inc. | | Model Number | 7000500 | | Part Number | 7000500 | | Target Species | Insects | | UPC | 817504005000 | | Unit Count | 50 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** The Environmental Factor - **Item Weight:** 12 ounces - **Liquid Volume:** 5 gallons - **Target Species:** Insects - **Unit Count:** 50 Count ## Images ![The Environmental Factor Pot Popper Organic Insect Control, 50 Pouches - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718qzBIGfJL.jpg) ![The Environmental Factor Pot Popper Organic Insect Control, 50 Pouches - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71e+PdmS7ML.jpg) ![The Environmental Factor Pot Popper Organic Insect Control, 50 Pouches - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91w+mB16L7L.jpg) ![The Environmental Factor Pot Popper Organic Insect Control, 50 Pouches - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81OSa229QGL.jpg) ![The Environmental Factor Pot Popper Organic Insect Control, 50 Pouches - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91fzWF0NN2L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How long Will unused pot poppers last?** A: It does have a best before date printed on the box **Q: Why won’t this ship to california? i thought hi was only restriction.** A: Check state agri commission. I’ve tried everything all the way down to pouring Permethrin in the toilet! These seem to help. I put one pack in the toilet after emptying the tank & flush. I don’t put any chemicals in the tank so it doesn’t kill the microbes. ## Frequently Bought Together - The Environmental Factor Pot Popper Organic Insect Control.
