Very comfortable, Last Long
Been wearing these for a year because I like to wear through my shoes. These have been lasting well, some damage inside the shoe now, but they won't need replacement for another few months. Excellent product.

Impressive hiking shoe that fits very well
I spend a good amount of my time outdoors, and would consider myself a 'gear nerd'. I already have a pair of Adidas trail running shoes in my gear collection which are much more lightweight than these shoes. These shoes are much more heavy duty. If you are looking for a more roomy, robust hiking shoe that has a stiffer sole with heavy duty large lugs, you won't be disappointed. In my opinion these shoes are built to accommodate a thicker sock. I immediately replaced the insole the shoe came with, with an insole that has better arch support. This upgrade to the insole made this shoe feel much better on my feet. They are roomy but not too much. Overall, I'm very impressed, they fit well and are very, very comfortable. I bought a size 8 in blue and they look and feel very nice. You might also find that you like the insole the shoe came with. Overall, I'm very happy with these shoes and wouldn't hesitate wearing them on the most demanding terrain found anywhere and highly recommend.

Great shoes that are definitely waterproof
I purchased these for disc golf. We have a lot of rain in FL and soggy socks are no good when playing. These shoes are the perfect combination of style and comfort. I keep them with my disc golf gear and wear them even if the course isn't wet. I've had them for a while now and they are still practically like new. I have been in ankle deep water with no issue.

The best shoe for national park's employees
I work at a marina and campground in the mountains in Northern California. These shoes for hiking, mountain biking, and getting wet are the BEST shoes I have ever owned. In my multi roll use they have stood up, they get dirty and they get wet as I'm working on the boats or doing a rescue's on the lake. Comfortable, and fit well. If you work for national parks (park rangers etc) consider these. This 2025 season they have been beat up over and over (I bought 2 pairs to start and alternate). Throw them in the washing machine when I do my laundry of work clothes and just let them sit out and they dry they come back so fast and come back to normal. I have never had shoes I washed come back like these. Normally the shoe fits wrong or is warped. Don't put them in the dryer - you don't need to, they dry so fast in a hot garage, give them a few hours. Also, I have spilled all sorts of stuff on the shoes - It resists stains!I'm so impressed with these for my work environment I might buy 3-4 more pairs as a backup in the summer months. 10/10 - bar none if you work, camp, HIKE, bike or work in a shop these win.

There are better option out there
The shoes look great and are fairly comfortable for everyday wear. The design is stylish, and they go well with different outfits. However, the sizing runs a bit small, and the cushioning isn't as supportive as I expected. They're fine for short walks, but I wouldn’t recommend them for all-day wear. Decent for the price, but not the most comfortable option out there.

Great durable waterproof work shoe.
I needed a waterproof shoe for work. I work in the rain and walk a lot for my job. I used to wear boots but I've been trying out various brands of goretex sneakers over the last few years. I've tried a few different Nikes and they always lost their waterproofing within a couple months. I had luck with Salomon trail shoes but they're way too expensive for a pair of sneakers that will inevitably wear out within a year.I was originally just going to stick with Salomon, but then I noticed these on sale for under fifty dollars. I've never been a huge fan of adidas but for the price I figured it was worth a shot.Initially these shoes are extremely stiff. It takes a week or two of dedication to break them in, like a pair of boots almost. Once they break in though they're as comfortable as any sneakers and are extremely grippy. Almost too grippy. They definitely take some getting used to. However, the goretex lining in these is the highest quality I've ever seen in a sneaker. I wore the soles through before the shoes lost their waterproofing. It really blows me away that a pair of adidas can actually be that durable. I've gotten a full year of use out of these which is a lot for the amount I walk.

Great fit and solid support in a high-performance hiker
I owned and wore out my original Adidas terrex hikers, and needed an upgrade for a trip to Sedona. The latest Ax4 did NOT disappoint. It is an excellent light hiking shoe. Comfortable with only a day of breaking them in, wearing to the office for work. I put these to the test with five straight day hikes in the rugged trails surrounding Sedona AZ. Averaging 8 miles a day of some pretty rocky and strenuous hiking over rugged terrain and was completely impressed.Pros:- Fit true to size. I'm a nine in every shoe and the nines fit me perfectly. I would recommend ordering your size- Highly supportive fit without hot spots. Not too wide, but ample toe room. Good arch support. Short (one-day) break-in- Goretex - didn't test this in AZ, but suspect this would fend of puddles and wet spots- Grippy as hell. The collaboration with Continental continues and continues to pay off. We did a lot of off-camber hiking and step descents on slick rock, and I never had a problem- In a world of garish sneakers on one side, and horrid looking hikers on the other (keens, merrills) these actually look cool and normal. No cons to report. One thing to note - I did try the non-goretex version before settling on these. I would highly recommend upgrading to this goretex version. The fit was better (the non-goretex version was too wide) and the mesh appeared sturdier.
