If it does not work for you check you phone/tablet OTG capability before saying it does not work.Also the micro usb capability is really rather clever, however time will tell how long that part lasts.Only wrong point I can see is that is is NOT USB 3 as far as I can see and the speeds are only the same as my USB 2 adaptors. I've used this item a couple of times now and now the third time my phone won't recognise it.The connector is very lose. I always kept the cover on it too. ### ⭐⭐ Poor Build Quality. *by N***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 January 2021* Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I bought this to replace a broken drive, but unfortunately found the build quality on this product to be equally poor, as an SD Card reader it works as advertised, will read cards and can import via USB 3.0 which is great.
