This lamp is good for a small room, where bright light is not required. It’s a nice lamp, good height, bot 40 w bulb doesn’t give a lot of light. I put it in the small office. And it’s perfect.

Background-I've ordered four uniquely different floor lamps in this general price range.-I use these in my carpeted bedroom in a corner during the evenings.Positives-I use super bright light bulbs in this lamp, which does provide the right amount of light for the before sleep period where you're sitting in bed reading or something of the sort.-Great quality, not cheap looking, stands straight, sturdy base, and materials are nice.-I have this lamp connected to an outlet that is controlled by a light switch. With the light switch on, I turned on the lamp. From then on, I was able to turn the lamp on and off via solely the light switch. I did not have to mess with the on/off button on the lamp.Negatives-If you're looking for something to light up the *whole* room brightly, you might try a different style of lamp. It does light up the room, just not extremely bright.Customer Service-One of my lamps arrived with a broken shade/vase. VEYFIY's package included a note to contact them for replacements, which I did via email. They asked for a photograph of the broken item, which I provided, and they had a replacement in route the very next day.

Perfect for living room or bedroom lighting. The best part is, it covers the bulb all around which allows you to not feel like the intensity of the bulb is super high. The look is very classy and the lamp is sturdy as well. Great purchase, would recommend it to anyone looking for a white lamp with a modern look.

I bough this to go behind my sectional for some extra lighting. It fits and works perfectly. Only problem I have is that to turn it on and off you have to move the sofa since the switch is so far down on the floor. so needless to say, mine stays on all the time. Very easy to assemble and the quality is pretty good for the price.

I got this lamp to use for an artificial sun rise using a TP-link dimmer outlet and a 120w 15,600 lumen led bulb https://a.co/d/dKI6BHG. Yes the 120w exceeds the 40w max listed on the instructions (don’t remember seeing that in the product description though) but the bulb has a fan and as far as I can tell with an IR sensor temperatures near the lamp socket only get to 120 degrees F during the hour the lamp is on, and a 40w incandescent is usually around 115 degrees F so pretty close and the cord is either 16 or 18 gauge (the stamp isn’t well defined) either way more than enough to handle 1ish amps. The bulb I got fits in the glass shade but is a tight fit, you won’t be able to get your fingers around the bulb but there is room for airflow. I’m pleased with the lamp, it barely takes up any space and works exactly as I hoped.
