A large part of my business is being out in all types of weather, snow, rain and ice and unlike many of the other folders I tried in the past these hold up to the elements and you can still write on them in the rain, not pouring rain but if they get a bit damp they're great. I use them for drawing my sketches of homes and buildings and to take notes, writing on the outsides of the folder and they hold up very well to everything mother nature can throw at them. Cost wise they're similar to others but quality wise they are heads above the rest. I really like the 1/3 tab when they are in the file cabinet as they make it easy to find a file amid the hundreds in the drawer.
