Review: Possible to Fit Official M.2 Hat - Had a Pi 5 for a while but never set it up due to still using the Pi 4. Seen this case and as it was Black Friday and the M.2 hat was also on sale decided to see if it could all fit into one case and it does. Attached photos to the review to help people if they ever try to do the same or are looking for something similar. Obviously this requires modification to the case by using a drill to make some holes for the mounting the M.2 hat, which also comes with its own hardware as it should normally live on top of the Pi 5. Instructions were easy to follow for the assembly of the unit as per the manufacturer intended, so in the future would hope they can add these holes officially so my poor drilling doesn’t affect people OCD from the photos. Pi 5 has not been stressed inside of the unit so cannot say anything about the thermals, but the unit did have some heat after some light use but it is known that the Pi 5 can kick out some heat.
