This gave it some tooth. Also, I pounced the paint on with a sponge instead of a brush then varnished it again. When dry I baked it in the oven. I found this method will make it almost impossible to scrape off. As far as just painting on glass, I have not done that so I can't answer to that. **Q: The picture of the set and the listing both show that 'light flesh' is one of the colors included. I did not receive that color in my set. Why?** A: The name has been changed to Cool Bisque. The color and the item number 2944 has not changed only the name. **Q: Will this paint work on shoes ?** A: I'm sure it would do fine on a canvas sneaker, not really sure about a leather shoe.
