It's in that sweet goldilocks zone between the hard brushes that just don't give and the really soft air bag feeling ones that just collapse at any push. I liked it enough and was looking better groomed enough that my spouse tried it, immediately loved it, and ordered one for themselves. So I feel fairly confident that it isn't just me. I feel it worth mentioning though that my spouse has very straight, thinnish hair. So it is good for not curly as well. It's a nice paddle shape and the grip is feels comfortable and correctly sized for me, which is about all I can really say about it. It brushes well.
