## Overview

The Warhammer 40,000 T'au Empire: Kroot Lone-Spear is a 35-piece multipart plastic model kit featuring a stealthy Kroot warrior mounted on a camouflaging Kalamandra. Designed for ages 14+, it offers dual weapon options—long-range sniping or explosive javelins—and multiple customization choices. Supplied unpainted and requiring assembly, it’s perfect for hobbyists seeking a detailed, tactical addition to their T'au Empire army.

## Description

This multipart plastic kit builds a Kroot Lone-spear, a cunning outrider for the Kroot of the T'au Empire. The Lone-spear is mounted atop a tamed Kalamandra, an agile amphibious creature with a vicious bite and the ability to hide in plain sight. They carry a choice of deadly hunting weapons – either a massive Kroot long gun for sniping prey at a distance, or an explosive blast javelin and a quiver of razor-tipped hunting javelins for taking out high-value victims up-close. You'll also find several cosmetic build options – a choice of heads for the Lone-spear, plus heads and poses for their Kalamandra – to further personalise this wandering hunter. This kit comprises 35 plastic components and a Citadel 90mm x 52mm Oval Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

Review: Great model - Great model
Review: A beautiful model - This model is really beautiful great detail honestly I had a hard time picking between the two ways you can build the kalamander head i did the more sneaky looking one now the one thing I'll say about this model is the reigns are very brittle broke mine but I was able to send it also if you do the sneaky head put the reigns on first let them just hang i had to be very gentle to move his head tendrils to get them in place besides that it puts together smooth and looks great

This model is really beautiful great detail honestly I had a hard time picking between the two ways you can build the kalamander head i did the more sneaky looking one now the one thing I'll say about this model is the reigns are very brittle broke mine but I was able to send it also if you do the sneaky head put the reigns on first let them just hang i had to be very gentle to move his head tendrils to get them in place besides that it puts together smooth and looks great

### ⭐⭐⭐ Overpriced
*by J***J on 9 September 2025*

GW models are way overpriced. only got one to get the scaling right on alternate models. Kits are OK, but in the age of 3d/resin printing they need to re-evaluate.
