Overall, a nice training deviceI recently picked up the golf training rope from River Hill Golf and have mixed feelings about it.On the positive side, this training rope helps with posture precision. It’s made a noticeable difference in my stance, which has improved my swing significantly. It maximizes my speed and power—my drives are going farther, and that’s a great feeling!Another benefit is how it boosts consistency and confidence. After using the rope regularly, I feel more prepared and focused when I play. It’s made practice sessions much more productive.However, there’s a slight downside. The learning curve can be a bit steep at first. It took me some time to figure out how to best integrate it into my routine, and a simple guide would have been helpful for guys like me just starting out.Overall, I still recommend this product. It’s an effective tool that can enhance your game if you’re willing to put in the effort!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Focus on the tempo and proper swing, don't just swing it as fast as you can...

I wasn't sure this would be good for anything other than loosening up a bit before a round but this actually can offer improvements if you focus on the swing plane and tempo. I typically leave this sitting on the back of my couch so I can make a dozen or so swings with it while my coffee is brewing. At first I was just swinging the heck out of it but quickly started focusing more on the swing path and the tempo. This will help you create that slight delay in the top of your backswing if you let it. This is important as it allows you to start the downswing with your hips which allows you to clear the swing path and reduce the "over-the-top" motion that comes with leading with your arms (and causes that horrible slice). I was one of those that had developed a very poor over-the-top swing with huge slices and this not only helped me loosen up, but also helped me develop the proper swing feel with that slight delay and leading the downswing with the lower body. Focusing on the swing plane has also improved my skills drastically by teaching me the proper way to shape the ball. Not only has it cured my over-the-top slice to hit a straight drive, but now I can shape the ball almost at-will with a high fade or even a draw (I have never been able to draw the ball previously). Definitely a cost effective tool to have in the toolbox for game improvement.
