Product description The Blaptica dubia or as commonly called Dubia roaches are probably the most popular of all the feeder roaches. They are easy to keep, easy to breed, reptiles and amphibians love them, and readily available at a reasonable price. They are very easy to sex; the males have full wings, whilst the females have reduced wings. The nymphs are grey/brown (some say they resemble woodlice). Other names: Guyana roach, Orange spotted roach, Argentine roach. Adult Size: Males up to 40mm, females up to 45mm. Feeder Cockroaches are a meaty cockroach, containing a higher ratio of protein to indigestible chitin. They produce little odour, are silent, and are calm and easy to handle. I would most definitely recommend to anybody whom also enjoys having exotic animals and taking care of the husbandry of exotic animals. I most definitely recommend buying from this seller.

**Q: I have a 5 month old beardie she's just over 12.5 inches. Hace never given her dubias as a live feeder. Are these the right size?**
A: Should be fine. Give her the larger ones first and the smaller ones will increase in size for later.  Put a small piece of moist kitchen towel in the roach box and not too much green leaf, carrot and apple. Roaches are so nutricious and easy to keep.  good luck. !

**Q: Could you bread this roches for a bearded dragon**
A: Several people do set up a breeding colony, You need the full size adults and the roaches take some time to grow.
I find it easy to buy 100 medium roaches every two months (added to vegs, fruit and Superworms.) for my 3 dragons.

A: We feed them  a cereal based diet with fresh fruit and vegetables
