Review: Supremely Pleased - Supremely pleased!! The quality of the instrument is superb, especially considering it's beginner entry level and price point. I would certainly recommend for kids and adults alike. I'm 61, play banjo, mandolin, guitar and bass. The violin was my first instrument at the ages of 8 - 14 years old. Couldn't ask for a nicer instrument to re-learn on. To some of the negative comments out there; Violin pegs are friction set, there's no way this could possibly stay in tune during shipping. Just not physically possible. If you know nothing about setting up a violin to play, then don't screw around with it. And certainly don't complain about it !!! Any Violin is a delicate instrument, and this one is no different. I could not be more happy with the entire package. Everything included, and all works perfectly.

Supremely pleased!! The quality of the instrument is superb, especially considering it's beginner entry level and price point. I would certainly recommend for kids and adults alike. I'm 61, play banjo, mandolin, guitar and bass. The violin was my first instrument at the ages of 8 - 14 years old. Couldn't ask for a nicer instrument to re-learn on. To some of the negative comments out there; Violin pegs are friction set, there's no way this could possibly stay in tune during shipping. Just not physically possible. If you know nothing about setting up a violin to play, then don't screw around with it. And certainly don't complain about it !!! Any Violin is a delicate instrument, and this one is no different. I could not be more happy with the entire package. Everything included, and all works perfectly.

This is a really great beginning violin. My child has had this about a year and a half and it's lasted well and has been great for learning. My only complaint is that the bow did not last, not entirely certain why. The feathering is fine but the bow itself is breaking. Overall, this really has been a good student violin.
