SITKA GEAR MEN’S EQUINOX GUARD PANT Comfortable and moisture-wicking, especially in hot, humid conditions, the pant is made from a lightweight SITKA-developed fabric that promotes airflow and features zippered leg vents that expel heat when moving fast and zip up for extra protection. A lot of existing solutions are bulky, too hot, include DEET or release smell into the environment. A specialized high-gauge textile is utilized for comfortable, low-bulk internal leg gaiters designed to be worn inside socks, while textiles and vent promote air flow. Lightweight, Durable, and Built for the Hunters!
The Sitka Equinox Guard Light Pants are perfect for early-season hunts or warm-weather hikes. They’re super lightweight, breathable, and move with you comfortably whether you're hiking or sitting. The zippered leg vents are a huge plus for staying cool, and the fabric feels durable yet soft.They do offer insect protection, but what really stands out is the comfort, fit, and thoughtful design. Plenty of functional pockets, great mobility, and solid sun protection. Pricey, yes—but if you’re a hunter or outdoors often, they’re absolutely worth it.

Nice and quiet
In colder conditions, wool layers are great under these. Definitely pair with other Sitka gear to keep down clothing noises, These fit comfortably and are true to size. Their weight is in the sweet spot.

Been searching for these for a while.
These are discontinued in the Timber pattern but I was able to find them on Amazon. I feel very fortunate to be able to get my hands on these. The pants fit great, keep me cool and dry, and help with ticks.

No Pockets!
Nice pants, but it should probably be noted that they have no pockets. I would not have bought them if I had known this.

Bugs Away? Yes!
The equinox line of garments really do work to repel bugs such as mosquitos, etc.To be sure, I had my doubts, BUT on a recent warm weather white-tail hunt with one off my grandsons, he commented as the how bad the mosquitos were for him during our hunt. Well, I was seated next to him only 4 or 5 yards away and I NEVER saw even one mosquito! THAT was proof positive to me that these garments are truly what they say that they are. I will give it a few seasons to see if or how long these garments repel, but as to now...I'm a believer in this garment. It's a "buy" recommendation!
