I also wanted it because at times my body will try to tell me it's hungry when it really isn't, as it's used to more food. Konjac jelly is good for that because it can help trick your stomach into thinking that it's full, so that you aren't tempted to snack on unhealthy items between meals. Konjac itself doesn't really have a flavor so it goes well with just about anything, including sweetness. The texture of this is nice. It has a slightly firm Jello consistency and I can crush the jelly easily in my mouth. This would be great for those who have dental issues or fewer to no teeth, since you don't need to chew anything. The flavor is also nice. If asked if it tasted like real apple or artificial I would have to say that it does taste more like artificial apple candy, but not in any unpleasant way. To be honest, I like that this reminds me more of the apple candies because it helps me feel like I'm getting away with cheating on my diet. And since this is only 10 calories, I'm not cheating in any way. There is a very slight aftertaste to this. It's not anything bad, just kind of something slightly different from the preceding flavors. I don't think it will really bother most. I would definitely caution people to not consume these in bulk as konjac can cause gas and diarrhea when consumed in massive quantities. This also has quite a bit of sugar alcohol, which can also do the same thing. The jelly also has a bit of trouble getting from the pouch sometimes, so you may need to put a bit of effort into this at times or just cut open the pouch. My body can be a bit overly sensitive to various foods thanks to allergies and gastroparesis, so I will update later if I had any sort of reaction to it. I'll also get my boyfriend to try these and see what he thinks.
