I prefer a DIY product over one which I cannot pronounce most of the ingredients. I am super impressed with this purchase – this feels to be a substantially higher quality of oil. This oil is thick as I would expect. It has a slight nutty scent which is much more pleasant than the β€˜stale cooking oil’ smell I am more familiar with. This oil is golden in colour – a much deeper colour than I expected – perhaps due to it being my first bottle of organic castor oil. Additionally, this oil is cold-pressed and therefore Hexane free. This oil is Food Grade! I have been very pleased with the effectiveness of the products I have been using, containing this oil, for the past 6 months on my skin, hair, eyebrows growth and gut health. This is a huge bottle which even with daily use is lasting ages!! When compared to the price of smaller bottles of castor oil, for this quality, I find the price is competitive and worth the investment.
