I broke my last one through my own fault. I was trying to open a stuck carton with it and the blade snapped. So, I ordered two more just to have a reserve and will not mis-treat them .

**Q: This fine serration makes it far easier to cut and dice vegetables. It is also a vastly superior knife for cutting cooked meat, such as Steak.**
A: I find this little knife useful for all sorts of things very good for thin slices of tomato cucumber, opening a crusty roll evenly I haven't used it on meat , but no good for peeling really hope this helps

**Q: is this any good for scoring pork?**
A: If you mean the pork fat on top that you score to make the crackling crispier, then no, this knife won't do, nor any Kitchen Devil knife (I regularly buy this Lifestyle one, and I have the rest of the set, been buying for years). I use heavy-duty kitchen shears, though with extra effort "ordinary" kitchen scissors do it (Fiskars Kitchen Scissors, Total Length: 18 cm, Quality Steel/Synthetic Material, Classic, 1000819, Standard, Amazon ref ASIN B001BYEM1W) - the trick is to start your cut using a tool with a sharp point, then cut into it and along. I was going to post details of my kitchen shears but the page no longer exists on Amazon thus the product is no longer available; it's the type of shears that includes blades at the base of the serated blades which act as a nutcracker.

A: About 11cms

**Q: Can you sharpen a serrated edge knife**
A: Li would not recommend sharpened a serrated edged knife as the points become brittle and can break off into the food you are cutting.  If it has lost its serrate edge totally then yes you can sharpen it.
