The magnetic alignment is strong and reliable, so it snaps right onto my MagSafe charger every time without slipping or misalignment. That consistency makes daily charging much easier and more convenient. The drop-proof lock design also gives real peace of mind. It feels rugged and protective, and I’ve already accidentally dropped my AirPods case a couple of times without a scratch or dent. The material has a nice textured finish that makes it easier to grip — no more slips from pockets or hands. Another nice detail is the easy open top. Review: Keeps your AirPods safe - I am very happy with this locking case. I can say it works very well to keep your AirPods INSIDE the case. I happened to drop my AirPods from ~3 feet up and they rolled about 5 feet away from me. The lid didn’t even crack open. The case only had a few scuffs on it, brushed it off and threw it back in my pocket. I think the magnet and the locking mechanism working together actually helps to keep the lid closed even better. The lock makes it a little less efficient and satisfying to open the case as the mechanism makes it harder to open with one hand, but I don’t think that’s a problem considering it keeps your AirPods from falling out. Overall I would recommend this case for your AirPods especially if you have butter fingers.

I am very happy with this locking case. I can say it works very well to keep your AirPods INSIDE the case. I happened to drop my AirPods from ~3 feet up and they rolled about 5 feet away from me.
