At first glance, I didn't believe that it could be all that "protective", but so far it has been. Using this case helps keep the phone protected, while not adding to the overall size of the phone. The case is made of silicone rubber. It is smooth to the touch but not slippery in the hand. Putting the case on the LG V20 is easy, you just put the top end in first, and then mold the remaining ends around the phone. It pops right into place and stays put. In three years, I've never had my phone fall out of this case. All port, cameras, and function buttons are unhampered and easily accessible once this case is on. The only down side: My first purchase was the clear version of the case. The clear rubber case eventually yellows with age and looks nicotine-stained. You may be able to wash the case clean, but for how low-priced this product is, I opted to purchase a second one.
