And when I first got it the material felt kinda rough.To my absolute surprise, wearing it from the inside is insanely comfortable, and it kept me extremely cool even out in the blazing 99 degree sun. I actually feel chilly here and there with these shorts unlike my other mainstream shorts. These shorts also dry quickly and great for workouts so if Merryweather fleet is ever attacking you in the water, you will easily dry off in 10 seconds.The only downside is the medium pockets, great for most things but if you carry a large phone, large wallet, bunch of keys, and a lanyard with badge the pockets are indeed small and things will slip out. If driving, your keys (by itself in the pocket) and large phone may lip out partially. After my first wear, two of the shorts had already begun unraveling slightly. However, a quick snip of the loose threads have held off that problem for the time being.In terms of appearance, they do really look nice in person! The designs are what you would expect from a far more expensive shorts brand, while only setting you back a small fraction of the price. In terms of sportswear, they're very stretchy and lightweight while not feeling overly cheap (despite my issues with the loose threads).
