Perfect & so easy & quick to lay down for garden shed.

Didn't fancy doing concrete again (getting too long in the tooth for it), so this was a good option.I found that it's quite hard to get it even (not just level) over the whole area and you need a long straight edge to check it constantly as you are levelling out your ground. I had a mixture of clay soil with pea shingle and used a shovel and rakes to smooth out, and before using the fabric (not even sure that's needed TBH, I laid it all out and with the straight bit of wood I had (look down it while holding it to your nose with one eye closed to check it's completely straight) lay it in various places with the spirit level on it, but go round again and pull the plastic up in the middle to see if there's any movement. If there is, it will likely affect the shed as you will have bows and dips which will affect it when putting it together. If it pulls up to the wood, just throw sand or gravel under it until it no longer moves. Then pull it all up again and throw the fabric down to keep it all as it was. I found that it's also better to fill the plastic with gravel after, to hold it in place, otherwise it's prone to moving.
