I’ve had this Premium Trapper over a year now, through two deer seasons, and it has proven very capable in outdoors, hunting, & bushcraft in Midwest woods in all conditions. It’s proven so handy day to day that it’s now my EDC. The gut hook is a welcome addition over the Buzzsaw Trapper, exceptional for all sorts of bushcraft cordage as well as its intended purpose. This knife/saw/gut hook isn’t perfect at everything but it does enough, well enough, on enough tasks, that I’m not having to reach for something else very often. My only gripe is that the blades don’t lock. Since I carry in a sheath, I’d gladly sacrifice having a little more weight for that added safety when teaching novices.
