I bought this for my 70+ dad to take on his European vacation. He’s VERY low tech so if he can use it, anyone can. It’s lightweight but has great volume! I finally got a small BT speaker for use with one of my hobbies. It is quite a nice unit. Sound quality is good for my needs. My only complaints are the loud sounds and the flashy light. Turning it on it make a loud sound and then the flashy lights start up. I have not found any way to stop the loud power up sounds. I can stop the flashing light, but would rather not have them start up at all. Have not used it in the field yet, so can't comment on battery life.
