Good Quality Hair Colour
I have naturally auburn hair which is going white at the temples and wanted to find a dye to cover the white but also be near enough my natural colour. Auburn hair dyes tend to be too red and quite unnatural so I went back to L'Oreal Paris Preference Hair Dye in shade, 7.3 Florida. I have used this previously and liked it so, although I had tried a few different ones I came back to this.To apply I mixed it in a plastic hairdressing bowl and applied it with a brush as I think that gives a more even finish - these are a cheap but very worthwhile purchase from Amazon. I like that it leaves my hair in a good condition as some dyes are too drying. It is a darker shade than shown on the box, so I may try a lighter one in future, but overall I am pleased with the fact it is easy to apply, there is little smell, it does not affect the condition of my hair and the colour, although dark, I still like.

Great results on light blonde hair - (check it is honey blonde)
Shade 7.3 FloridaThis is my go to ‘dark blonde’ colour. I’ve used it before years ago and seem to come back to it. This time I’ve went from being a very white ash blonde to this rich deep honey blonde. I did leave a little bit of hair un-dyed at the front of my head as a highlight to frame my face.I love the result, the colour has made my hair look in much better condition. It’s shiny and looks a lot healthier.*review note* they’ve changed the formula if you buy the old box design which states “honey blonde” you get the nice result in my pic, if you buy the new box you get “golden blonde” and it’s a completely different colour! It’s ash! No caramel warm tones at all! L’Oréal you’ve ruined what was a fantastic shade.

My hair was a very lovely shade of copper & gold its now a ghastly BROWN and my husband has gone to a chemist to get me a copper dye never again this shade needs modifying i have used florida before but it never came out BROWN

Hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions. This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. Temporary \"black henna\" tattoos may increase your risk of allergy. Do not colour your hair if : you have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp, you have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair. You have experienced a reaction to a temporary \"black henna\" tattoo in the past. You must do an allergy alert test without fail 48 hours before each use of this product (read and follow the instruction leaflet). Remember to buy this product in advance in order to do the allergy alert test 48 hours before use. The developer creme contains hydrogen peroxide the colourant gel contains: phenylenediamines, resorcinol, and ammonia. Avoid contact of the product with eyes. Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse eyes immediately and thoroughly if product comes into contact with them. Wear the gloves supplied in the box. Rinse hair well after application. Wait at least 2 weeks after using a relaxer, a perm or a straightening process on the hair. Do not use if your hair has been coloured with henna or with a progressive hair colourant. Keep out of reach of children.
