Review: Works like a charm! High conversion efficiency! - I like that the connection process is very simple, and the instructions for the device are very clear. BE AWARE that you MUST connect the Bluetooth dongle (sold separately) in order to use the VictronConnect app for your phone. You can connect solar panels in series, up to the max input voltage of 100V. Higher voltages produce more output Amps and Watts at the battery output. Series-wired panels will output the Amps of ONE panel at the SUM of their output voltage. You can connect sets of panels in parallel to get more output current (and Wattage) but in parallel, the Amps add up, so don't overdo it. Aim for about 20-25 Amps max, to avoid overloading the device. I'm running this with 3 pairs of 100W panels in parallel and it works perfectly. for charging 2 or more 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries.

**Q: On an RV can this be mounted in the elements? Not in direct spray from a tire for example**
A: If it's mounted so that the connection points are on the bottom, it will resist water dripping from above, but it is specifically for *indoor* use.

**Q: Can this charge controller be used with a 400 watt 12v wind turbine?**
A: Yes it can, and as with most MPPT controllers, should the turbine put out more than 400W in a storm, there won't be any damage but the output will be limited to 30A at the battery charging voltage, usually around 13.7 to 14.4 volts. In our experience, there is little likelihood of the turbine meeting it's rated capacity under most conditions. However - many wind turbines use a dedicated controller that will, among other things, control the turbine's speed. Check the manufacturer's documentation for any requirements they may have. If they do not require their own controller, this will be a good one.

**Q: I have a macbook pro with mac os high sierra; os 10.13.6 and blue tooth 6.0.7 won't connect to victron connect smart charge controller 100/30,why?**
A: When connecting from the desktop version of the app you need to use the VE Direct to USB connector. The software detects what platform you are using

**Q: What lithium charging values are programed in at the factory?**
A: These settings are for 24v systems, the default is 28.4v absorption and 27v for float. These settings are fully programmable using the app.

Outstanding!!! I have been having issues with my GoPower 30A MPPT controller. I called tech support. They seemed to point to my system wiring first and their controller last. I have no time for this. I decided to go with a Victron and BOOM!!! My problems gone. WAY better product and customer feedback than the GoPower products. I also had a GoPower PWM controller that failed. Thank you VICTRON!!!
