One of our favourite features is the package detection. It not only alerts us specifically when a delivery arrives but also when the package is picked up. Right now that’s just us retrieving it, but it’s reassuring to know it would also notify us if someone else tried to take it. We followed the directions to connect the unit to our home’s hard wiring, hoping it would ring inside as well as the app. While our indoor chime rang when tested with the bare wires, it stopped once connected to the eufy (still need to troubleshoot this). The upside is that the hard wire eliminates the need to recharge the battery. EDIT TO ADD: the indoor chime needs to be turned on in settings! Works now! Another big plus is that we’re using the free version of the app and haven’t felt the need for a paid subscription at all.
