Review: Myerchin or Spike is great! - This Marlin Spine is super nice! Very heavy in your hand, very smooth. This makes even the tightest of knots cone loose. I bought it to keep in my Bob, and thought it would be good for Paracord, but it's bigger than I expected, so it would be great for bigger rope too. The sheath it came with is surprisingly nice, it's not cheap vynyl, it's leather a d really nice and includes a braded hole to tie a la yard to the spike for naval sailing use. I'm very happy!

This Marlin Spine is super nice! Very heavy in your hand, very smooth. This makes even the tightest of knots cone loose. I bought it to keep in my Bob, and thought it would be good for Paracord, but it's bigger than I expected, so it would be great for bigger rope too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for my son to untie double knots

Perfect for loosening double knots. My son uses this to untie the double knots on the waxed laces on his hockey skates. And after breaking my finger nails trying to untie skates I started to use this too. We originally were using a basic sailing knife, with marlin spike and knife blade. But one day my son was using it in the locker room and one of the coaches flipped out that my son had a weapon in the locker room . This marlin spike solves that problem. We opted for the option with a sheath. Pretty handy. Perfect size, nice weight, pointy but not sharp. Would definitely recommend.
