I use them for recording videos or pictures. So far I have only found a few (2-3) coasters out of the hundreds of DVD's I've burned. The LightScribe surface hs worked flawlessly on all I have labeled so far. My only complaint with these was the cakeboxes they were shipped in got pretty beaten up during the shipment process and were pretty well unusable when I got them. I did have extra Cakeboxes that I could keep them in though so it wasn't a crucial problem. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Merely OK *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2011* The Lightscribe reproduction is fine, and is as good as you're going to get with a LS writer. My gripe is that I've used about a dozen discs, and so far, two of them have been duds. I'm used to 2 out of a hundred, but out of the first 12? Maybe it's just an aberration, but I'll know more as time goes by.By the way, there's nothing wrong with the Lightscribe burner.
