Review: Good support, medium cushiony, excellent fit. - This review is for the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24 Supportive in color "Alloy/White/Gold Fusion". I've been a fan of Brooks running shoes for a while now. I've had the Glycerine GTS 19 Supportive and the Ghost Max 2 Neutral before this. I still use both of those, actually. I got those because they came recommended for people who get knee pain due to running. The Glycerine GTS 19 Supportive is medium cushiony. It's fairly firm, especially compared with the Ghost Max 2 Neutral. The Ghost Max 2 is incredibly squishy in its cushion. It's so cushiony that I find it a little annoying to walk in. It's excellent for walking outdoors on hard asphalt, which is what I use it for. It's like walking on a cloud. But the Ghost Max 2 is terrible on a gravel or a dirt track. That's because when you have a dirt track or gravel path, you will have some instability due to rolling. You don't want something that squishes around on you when you have that instability. You want something more supportive and solid, less cushiony. That's where the GTS Supportive line of Brooks shoes comes in. GTS means Go To Support apparently. The cushion on these Adrenaline shoes is about a medium level to me. It's just slightly less than the Glycerine GTS 19 Supportive that I have, but not a lot less. Both of those shoes are almost equivalent to me. The Gylcerine GTS 19 Supportive became firmer over time, by the way, and I expect that to be true of these Adrenaline shoes as well. The cushion on this Adrenaline is more noticeable when you have a long stride and strike on your heel. Then the back part of the shoe that sticks out a little will just squish a huge amount, which I suppose is smart in order to save your knees from damage. But when your foot strikes on the ball, it's hardly noticeable. (That's good!) Mid-foot strikes get some cushion, though, and it's noticeable. Between the mid-sole and heel, it gains cushion. The feel isn't super squishy landing on the mid-heel with a medium stride, but it is squishy. Stability is good on these. Not excellent, but just good. You won't roll all that much. To be the most stable, though, would require a very firm cushion or no cushion at all. So you would use these Adrenaline shoes for running on asphalt, dirt, and light gravel tracks. I use my Glycerine GTS 19 Supportive primarily for running on a dirt track near me, and so the Adrenaline GTS 24 Supportive should do just as well on dirt tracks. For dirt tracks, these are great. I'm also using the Adrenaline for an indoor treadmill. Though, I think I may ultimately decide to go with a very firm shoe for the treadmill just because my treadmill has cushion built-in. I don't want to over-cushion while on the treadmill, and I need the stability while on the treadmill to avoid accidents while my attention is on something else. The fit is excellent for me. But fit is subjective. My preferred shoe width is a "D", or just slightly less than a D. These are perfect. They fit well with very little room side to side. So they fit almost like a glove width-wise for me. You want that, because otherwise if you have room in your shoe for your foot to move around, then you can get blisters over time. For you, the fit just depends. But I love them.
Review: Excellent Support for Extra Wide Feet - Best Structured Shoe I’ve Tried - ★★★★★ (5/5) I’ve tried 10+ running shoes from nearly every major brand, and the Adrenaline GTS 24 in 4E (Extra Wide) is by far the most supportive and durable option I’ve found for runners who need structured support. I bought these for daily running while finally running post-op from a tendon tear, and the stability has made a real difference. If you have a history of injury or just need extra support, I’d highly recommend this shoe. One note: the shoe does run a bit large, but that’s consistent with the industry and the stack heights of comparable shoes from other brands, not a flaw specific to Brooks. Overall, a fantastic shoe for anyone who needs a wide, supportive fit without sacrificing durability. Size purchased: Men’s 12, 4E (Extra Wide)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brooke Brooke BROOOOKE!
*by A***O on August 3, 2026*

10 stars ⭐️ I discovered Brooks a year ago thanks to GROCK, who recommended the Adrenaline GTS 24s for my issue: Achilles tendon pain and a need for a shoe suited to my weight—not a mushy "pizza" like some HOKAs I used to wear. I weigh 240–245 lbs and love the support Brooks provides; the tendon pain vanished within a month, and now I own five pairs of Brooks. This particular pair features a GORE-TEX membrane, making them perfect for rainy weather. I bought a size 12.5—I usually wear a 12, but the Adrenaline GTS 24s have less toe room (I know that now). The GTS 25s, on the other hand, have plenty of space but offer far less support. Personally, I prefer the Adrenaline GTS 24s because they support me perfectly, even when I’m walking 15,000–20,000 steps a day on concrete floors. Thanks, Brooks (and GROCK⭐️)!
