Pichi Pichi Pitch 1: Mermaid Melody

Pretty ok for being used, not at all out of shape and looks almost new, the price is a little higher than I would like but everything else is fine

I like the series but when I got the book it was wet. The package was not sealed properly and the ink ran all over the pages. A little saddened by it though.

If you’re an anime or manga fan and have heard of this as a classic magical girl story you need to see, just skip it. The story writing is super choppy, the artwork is pretty bad, and the characters pretty much have zero personality. If you really want to see this, watch the anime. At least that had better art and a slightly smoother storytelling

The book is old, as it said. I am pleased with the fast shipping as well.

Good item

This is actually a pretty good translation! Even if you've seen the fan translations, you might as well go get the English version, if only to support the franchise and make someone get the anime license again. One note about the manga- it's really different from the anime. Besides small changes like Shinju-yu and Gackto in the manga becoming Pearl Piari and Gaito in the anime, the show is more child-friendly while the manga is rated T, and some later events (blood during battles, LuciaxKaito and MichalxKaito lead-up scenes, the demise of a certain pair of villains) provide a good reason. None of that happens in the first volume, though, and both versions are pretty good storytelling. If you are of the deluded opinion that magical girls are all Sailor Moon wannabes, if too much pink is bad for your health, or if you just think singing to defeat the enemy is weird (well, it is... and those attack names ["Pretty Sugar Pitch"?] are odd too, but if you think it's weird enough to put you off), you will utterly despise this book. If none of this applies to you, read it. Now. Okay?

Watched the anime when I was younger and read a few of the manga. I love this series! It’s beautifully drawn and has a very cute yet powerful plot line. It’s an obvious love story of young mermaids who also happen to live on the surface because heir kingdoms are being attacked by dark sea creatures. Main character is Luchia the pink mermaid and supporting characters are the blue and green mermaid. It gets more and more interesting as the story progresses and you find out about the other mermaids. I enjoyed this manga and I’m sure many others will too.

Para mi sorpresa, ha llegado con mas de una semana de antelacion a la primera fecha aproximada y viene en buenisimas condiciones. Tenía muchísimas ganas de tener este manga en la estantería y en cuanto he tenido la oportunidad no lo he dudado.

El tomo está en perfectas condiciones,adoro mermaid melody y aunque sea en inglés,pude conseguir el tomo a un precio bastante razonable ya que la gente suele pasarse con los precios de esta serie.
