Sometimes I can get the red light to work. I'm not an idiot, just extremely busy and annoyed with overdone, should be simple tech. Light adjusts automatically based on ambient lighting but ive noticed if im in bright light just a bit too long its turns off, annoying. Headband is the best ive ever had for a headlamp, adjusts super easy and stays. Beam is super strong and goes very far, if you can get it set where you want it. Buttons are SUPER TINY so thats SUPER ANNOYING! Battery lasts a long time but takes a long time to charge. I have no fudging idea why this device needs bluetooth, i still have no idea what it does or why. This was a gift, i would not have bought a headlamp with bluetooth. Unless you need more complexity in your life, then this light is perfect for you. Currently I cannot get my light to work it is just flashing red, after full charge, time to pull out the fudging manual for a fudging headlamp which i do not have time for.
