It might not be as efficient on old hard stains, but usually my workout clothes are dark and don't get very dirty. I have some old white running socks which I used for a mud run and are `grey` since then; this detergent didn't make them sparkling white again but it keep new stains out of the way. I didn't find this on EWG to validate it's environmentally friendly truly (and the brand is not transparent with the ingredients)... but let's say I like they claim the product is designed with environment considerations.
