Forget those cheaper screen protectors that are easy to break and leave all kinds of fingerprints. The Magic John Screen Protector beats those by a huge margin. It is substantially thicker, but not so thick that I encountered any issues with installation or with my case. The included jig made installation very easy and bubble free. I have had it installed on my phone for two months and it doesn't scratch like the thin, cheap ones and best of all, it doesn't crack when dropped from about 4 feet onto a tiled floor. The MAGIC JOHN 3rd Gen Upgraded screen protector for iPhone 17 Pro Max is pretty decent—it goes on easily without much hassle and has a 9H hardness that handles scratches well. Compared to some generic tempered glass options out there, it’s got this handy auto-dust-removal thing and fits better, so you’re less likely to mess up the install. It also does a solid job keeping fingerprints at bay, which beats out a lot of basic plastic film protectors. That said, it doesn’t cover the top speaker vent as nicely as some other models, especially with this new design, leaving that spot a bit vulnerable. Overall, it’s a good pick but cleaning that top speaker vent would seem to be annoying later on
