Then I found LazBlinds. They are the perfect solution. The blinds work like a tension rod. I installed 4 mini blinds in less than an hour! Without a hammer or drill! They are excellent quality, cordless and best of all easy to install. The only thing I wish I had done was get them slightly smaller. My windows measured between 33 and 34 inches wide. (When they tell you to measure your window in three different places, do it.) Mine were narrower at the very top than at the bottom. I went with 33. I probably needed 32 or 32 1/2 inches wide because the first 7 slats at the top did not lay flat after I installed them. My solution was to trim about an 1/8th of an inch off each side of the first 7 slats. It was actually an easy fix and they still look great! These blinds cost more than traditional blinds, but they are ideal for us.
