Follow the instructions and you’ll have great tasting ice in no time. **Make sure you transfer the ice to your freezer as soon as it’s made as this machine is NOT meant for STORING ICE!! It only makes ICE!! Ice will melt if you leave it in there. I filled up my freezer’s ice bin in one day! Picture shown is one days worth of ice! Great for making enough ice for personal use but if you want enough to fill a small cooler, this is not your unit. In about half an hour the ice tray will fill up and not produce more til the ice either melts or the tray is emptied. The ice melts very quickly. It does fine for making a couple drinks cold at a time, but although it says it'll make 26 lbs of ice in a day, unless you babysit the ice maker, you'll never see it.
