Grass was covered in dew but lower front portion of shoes are rubber & blocked lawn water well; toes remained dry. Very very breathable. That’s a plus!! More comfortable than I expected. Sides & soles are a bit stiff, but loosened up a bit after wearing. Better & stronger sides & soles than sneakers. Very stable footwear! Soles are grippy. Solid feel while walking on uneven terrain. I wear wide shoes & although I bought a non-wide pair of theses shoes, they do have room for a pair of good work sox. Might need heavy sox if you have narrow feet. Think “all terrain water resistant sneaker” not a “waterproof go thru anything shoe”. But well worth what I paid. Very sturdy! I bought a pair of Columbia Newton Ridge Plus last year.
