Gave it 4 stars because the “leather” straps and buckles looks a little suspect... not sure how long they will last but only time will tell. But as I said, I don't plan to put heavy items in it. I already have a plan B in mind... velcro straps if these fail over time. The basket itself seems like it will hold up well to the elements but we’ll see. If it bounces to much during riding, I may add some velcro around the lower part of the basket to secure it better to the handle bars. Anyway, she loves all things purple and while she loved the new scooter she struggled to carry all of her beloved things when she went places. I surprised her with this and she insisted on putting it on herself. Apparently it is easy enough for a five year old, but I was surprised when I went to see her work that she put it on backwards. When I asked why, she looked at me as though I were the most clueless person on the planet and said, "Daddy, I can't see it very well if I put it on the front, now can I?"
