There is a ridge on the front, so an inside thread lens cap works, but is recessed and hard to get on and off. I wish I could put a UV filter on the front, then I could easily put a lens cap on that. Once you screw it on the orientation is what you get. No option to rotate. In my case, that makes the buttons and USB C hard to get to when on my table or phone. Good, but could be improved. Review: Only 20 minutes when on full brightness.
