I mainly use these when I apply makeup because the sharp end is perfect for fixing and sharpening my eyebrows after I apply a brown pencil, and they work really well to sharpen my winged eyeliner and eyeshadow, especially when they're dipped into micellar water. The cotton does tend to unravel on the swab eventually, and while all cotton swabs are like this to varying degrees, these are much more durable than those cheap, generic value-pack kinds.
