Its compact 150mm length and ultra-lightweight 85g design make it ideal for camcorders, DSLRs, and portable audio recorders, delivering professional audio performance in a sleek, durable package. ## Description The RØDE VideoMic Pro is a true shotgun microphone designed for use with camcorders, DSLR cameras and portable audio recorders as a source of primary and reference audio. The VideoMic pro is battery powered, and provides over 70 hours recording from a single 9V battery. The RØDE VideoMic is designed and made in Australia, and covered by RØDE Microphones' industry leading 10 year warranty. At the heart of the VideoMic Pro is an all-new 1/2-inch condenser capsule that provides broadcast-quality audio via a 3.5 millimeter minijack connector (outputting the mono signal to both left and right channels) with an incredibly low self-noise of just 14db. A super-cardioid polar pattern ensures that surrounding audio is minimised, and your recording is focused on the subject in front of the camera. The integrated Rycote Lyre based shock mounting system separates the VideoMic Pro capsule and electronics from its mount, providing isolation from external physical factors that may cause unwanted rumble and vibrations in the microphone. Constructed from a single piece of hard-wearing thermoplastic, the Lyre provides superior acoustic suspension to traditional elastic solutions, and will never wear out, sag or snap. ## Features - Rycote Lyre shock mounting onboard - All new capsule with lower noise and higher sensitivity - Broadcast recording quality condenser microphone - Compact form factor (150mm/6" length) - Ultra-lightweight (85g/3oz) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Antenna Location | Recording | | Asin | B00YAZHRZM | | Audible Noise | 10 Decibels | | Audio Sensitivity | 14 Decibels | | Best Sellers Rank | #440,368 in Electronics (See Top 100 in Electronics) #136 in External Camcorder Microphones | | Box Contents | VideoMic Pro Rycote (1U), Safety & Warranty Manual (1U) | | Brand Name | Rode | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Devices | Camcorder, Camera, Camera | | Connectivity Technology | Wired | | Connector Type | 3.5 mm Jack | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (2,398) 4.4 out of 5 stars | | Enclosure Material | Aluminium | | Eu Spare Part Availability Duration | 10 Years | | Frequency Range | 20Hz 20kHz | | Frequency Response | 20 KHz | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00698813004195 | | Hardware Platform | Camera | | Impedance Unit Of Measure | 200 Ohms | | Importer Contact Information | Trimac Products Private Limited, D-40, DSIIDC Packaging Complex, Kirti Nagar, Delhi 110015 | | Item Dimensions | 22.9 x 7.6 x 12.7 Centimeters | | Item Highlight | Supercardioid condenser with Rycote shockmount and 70-hour battery for camcorders, DSLRs and portable audio recorders | | Item Type Name | Condenser | | Item Weight Unit Of Measure | 3 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Rode, Rode | | Manufacturer Contact Information | Rode | | Manufacturer Part Number | VideoMic Pro | | Microphone Form Factor | Shotgun | | Model Name | VMPR | | Model Number | VMPR | | Number Of Batteries | 1 12V batteries required. | | Number Of Channels | 1 | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Packer Contact Information | Trimac Products Private Limited, D-40, DSIIDC Packaging Complex, Kirti Nagar, Delhi 110015 | | Polar Pattern | Unidirectional | | Power Source | AC | | Signal To Noise Ratio | 77 dB | | Special Feature | 3.5mm stereo mini-jack output (dual mono), 9V battery powered - over 70 hours use (alkaline), Integrated foam windscreen, Integrated shock mounting, Two step High Pass Filter (flat, 80Hz) | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upc | 698813004195 | | Warranty Description | 5 year | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Rode - **Connectivity Technology:** Wired - **Connector Type:** 3.5 mm Jack - **Model Name:** VMPR - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Recording ## Images ![Vmpr Videomic Pro R with Rycote Lyre Shock Mount, Black - Wired - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51ix-L0l0nL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Pattern Name** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can i record with it after connecting it to my Computer?** A: Yes **Q: Does it work with panasonic lumix gh5 mirrorless camera?** A: YES **Q: Is rode mic pro Compatable with oneplus 6?.
