SHOPEE 58mm Reversible Flower Lens Hood for Canon REBEL and EOS Series Cameras

I own a Canon 700D with 2 kit lens, EF-S 18-55mm and EF-S 55-250mm Non STM lens. I have attached the UV filter to the 18-55mm lens and the Lens Hood to 55-250mm lens.UV Filter:- I am using the UV filter just for protecting the front element (glass) of the lens. So I wanted something cheap that was cheap and be replaced easily. Please note that any and every filter you add to your lens WILL reduce picture quality, no matter the quality of the filter element. But other than the insignificant, slightly increased Chromatic Aberrations when using a wide angle lens, I personally, didn't find any difference in picture quality. The original Canon lens cap fits perfectly on the filter, so there's no need to remove the filter. Once, it's in place, secured tightly in front of the front element, it seems like its a part of the original lens.Lens Hood:- Plastic Quality is REALLY BAD. It cracked while trying to screw it on the lens (See Picture). It's still usable. Works like its supposed to. NOT TO BE USED WITH WIDE ANGLE LENS. Otherwise the hood is visible in the pictures.

Considering the fact that its less than ₹300 and the original one is arround ₹1500 it is totally worth it. I was also looking for reviews first but didnt found any good ones. So here's the deal, It fits good, It is reversible and its build is not at all bad like i was thinking. Ofcourse the quality is not as good as original but let me tell you, you're not gonna regret buying it.

(See at the end of this review)The initial package sent to me was damaged, and came with a repaired unit.I was not happy and said so in my review.(((NEW REVIEW: Unit was returned and replaced with a new unit.I am very happy with the new package. All covers fit perfectly. Great quality for the price point. If they break after some use I will not be too upset because they are priced low and they serve the purpose and help with reducing lens flare.Thanks for replacing the faulty one. it arrived on the 4th May. ))))))(((((OLD REVIEW: - Waited patiently for the delivery. The box arrived today 28th April. The 58mm lens cover was damaged on arrival. The threading had been broken and a poor attempt to repair it was made using glue. Not happy, considering that I waited so long.All the other parts appear to be in good condition. Build quality is lower end(bendy and flexible plastic). However they are certainly worth the low price to anyone who is looking for a basic lens hood.CURRENTLY MY REVIEW STANDS AT 1 STAR. because I received a damaged product. I have immediately asked for a replacement, and I will change the review when the replacement arrives to suitably review the new replacement.)))))

I bought this for my Sony Camera, my lens is from Sony (E 1.8/11) but this hood is not fitting properly on it. It is not able to lock on the lens also. The photos are not coming out well. I have returned it. Not good for Sony users.
