I was skeptical at first, but man do I love these things. They are super comfortable and lightweight. Even in the heat of the summer my feet didn't get super warm. The mesh on the side and vents in the sole help keep your feet cool. I wore these things on duty the very first day I got them, no break in period! I would highly recommend these for anyone who wants good ankle protection + comfort all in one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars The good reviews are holding up *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2013* I've been using them for 2 weeks and they're as described - comfortable as running shoes. The laces are curiously slick and unnecessarily long, but that's an easy fix. The sizing system UA uses doesn't seem to hold up, so I went to try on their running shoes in a store to get a sense of it. They're about the same as Nike. I usually wear 11.5 or 12, and the 12 I picked for these fit just right. There are comments about the boots squeaking a little, which I've found to be true. It's not the tread against the floor, but compression of the inner heel. I purchased gel inserts to snug them up a bit and there's some reduction of the squeak. It's not bad. I like them a lot so far. I previously purchased Oakley's Sabot boot, for a similar price, and its heels wore clean through after 6 months of working backstage at a theatre - not exactly "tactical" work. Hoping these outlast that.
