Optoma Europe HD31UST 1080p 3400 Lumens HD Projector - White

I decided to buy an ultra short throw projector due to my circumstances. Excellent brightness as we can comfortably watch this with the curtains open. During night time or in dark rooms it is really impressive. Size, I am getting over 100” from a very short distance. You can easily increase the size to over 120” if you have the space.I am projecting straight to the wall and I am very satisfied with the results, I guess a proper surface will improve image quality. The 1080p quality is true and accurate. The fan is not very noisy, when watching a movie with increased volume the fan is unnoticeable, when watching with standard sound you have to know it there to notice it. At low volume you can notice the fan, however I don’t find it irritating. The sound from the speakers is more than adequate and can be loud at top level (10).Originally I bought this for the kids to watch movies, I must admit that this projector has replaced our 55” Sony TV. The TV is back in the box and in the garage. I am not implying that is better quality than a TV, all I am saying is that it’s image quality is more than good to decide to replace my 7 year old TV.

This is a really good ultra short throw projector. With 3D glasses worked really well. My only criticism is that the intern speaker was a bit muffled and was more obvious when the volume went up.... Easily fixed with a sound bar though.

I purchased this projector just over a year ago and it was the best thing i ever did. It replaced my tv in my living room and I now have a 100 inch + screen in the comfort of my own home. The picture quality is excellent in light or dark however as expected black tones are better in the dark. I purchased an expendable wall/ceiling mount which it would recommend as keeps it safely out the way and help prevent dusts settling on the mirror.My only slight issue is the sound volume as I find the lowest setting can still be quite loud. Even with that its still the best impulse buy i have ever had.Great for film nights with the family and takes gaming to another level.

I bought this primarily for 3D movies but, as per another reviewer, there is something wrong with the 3D mode. It cannot cope with fast moving images and just loses the 3D altogether and becomes very jerky and unwatchable. This may be fixable by a firmware update but nothing was available at time of writing.I have owned several projectors and this one had the most annoying fan noise, it emits a high pitched whine rather than a more normal fan noise and is quite distracting.The image isn't as bright as I'd have liked but was ok.Changing HDMI's or any other option involving the inputs seems to take an age and is hit an miss whether it will identify the source.Overall this was a disappointing projector and went back to Amazon for a full refund. I have since replaced it for a BenQ 1600 UST which was the same price and is a far superior device, the 3D is flawless and the fan is much quieter (even though the specs said the Optoma was quieter than the BenQ), HDMI swapping is flawless and quick and the image seems slightly brighter and I get a bigger screen from the same wall distance than the Optoma.

This is our first projector that we wanted for purposes of movie nights or big sporting events. However, the picture is so good, the TV is now in the loft and we use the projector daily. We didn’t expect the picture to be so good in daylight. We probably won’t go back to tv now. We have now bought a sound bar as when watching things on fire stick, sound was not so good but we were expecting that to be an issue. (We needed to buy a splitter to put the audio through the sound bar but that wasn’t expensive). The picture is taken at 3pm in the afternoon with curtains wide open. Picture is even better in the evenings.

This is my first ultra short throw projector (having replaced my old Optoma) and I am very pleased. The image is clear, bright and regardless of what the previous reviewer says, the 3D function works just fine for me. As a matter of fact, the projected image is so nice and clear that we even use it without a projection screen and just project onto our living room wall. If you're looking for a minimalist futuristic experience, this projector is a good fit.

I have owned 4 projectors prior to this one and i have to say this is the worst yet. It has 2 major flaws. Firstly the picture is tainted by a horizontal "banding" effect which totally distracts from the viewing experience. The banding is visible on the projector test screen (photo of test screen attatched - its not very clear, but you can just make it out) so is nothing to do with the source material. Secondly, it is completely unwatchable in 3D. The picture depth seems all wrong and the motion is incredibly jerky. This is in comparison to my previous Ben-Q projector which was perfect with the same glasses. In conclusion, i regret not sticking with Ben-Q and will dump this piece of garbage as soon as i can.

I bought this short throw projector for a rather small room and I am quite happy with its performance. It projects 100" picture from 15 cm, so in terms of required space it is just perfect. The FHD picture quality is amazing for a darkened room, however, I expected a bit higher brightness. I have not tested yet the 3D playback so I cannot comment on the related critics of other reviewers. I would have welcomed some *smart* features or at least an internal media player, but those are missing, so I am using it with a Mi Box S.

Un proiettore di questo livello, a tiro cortissimo ha bisogno di essere perfettamente tarato.Avendo una focale fissa, l'ho trovato leggermente sfocato nelle immagini, e per questo motivo l'ho restituito.Necessità di un telo particolare per la proiezione CLR...Buone immagini, ma non perfettamente nitide.Restituito.Prenderò un proiettore con zoom e messa a fuoco manuale che in questo proiettore non esiste.

Nutzen ihn als TV Ersatz & Heimkinosytem. Installation ist Kinderleicht und ohne Probleme abgelaufen. Aufstellen, ausrichten Focus einstellen. Nutze den Beamer mit Sky,PS4, Nintendo Switch gelegen auch mal mit PC an einer 5.1 Anlage. Das Bild, was soll ich sagen 2,7m Diagonale ist ne Ansage. Bild ist sehr scharf und nach Farbkalibrierung absolut Gut. Klar je Weiter das Gerät von der Wand weg steht um so schlechter wird natürlich das Gesamtbild. Lautstärke, Lüfter im Eco oder Eco+Modi super leise, kenne Geräte die doppelt 3x so laut sind, also absolut Tauglich um Abend's leise was gucken ohne das der Lüfter randaliert. Sitze 4m von dem Gerät entfernt. Gaming, sehr gut, dank DLP Technik so gut wie kein Input Lag zu spüren, super Flüssige Bilder beim Spielen da wird man nicht mekkern war selbst überrascht. Schwarzwerte sind auch sehr gut im vergleich zum TV Bild, da bin ich normal sehr empfindlich aber absolut IO. Der Beamer projeziert auf eine große Verputze Wand eine Leinwand hab ich noch keine und ehrlich gesagt will ich auch keine da die Optik mir persönlich nicht zusagt aber das Bild wird mit wohl noch um einiges besser sein. Zwischenbildberechnung hat der Optoma keine, dochr Hand aufs Herz ich vermisse sie bei dem Gerät wirklich nicht oder empfinde es als störend. Einschalten dauert ca 20sek, die Lampe muss aufgewärmt werden. Die Fernbedinung ist klein gut zu bedienen auch die Menus sind gut Strukturiert und es gibt viel einstellungsmögliochkeiten. Also und Alles in allem sehr Guter Ultrakurzdistanz Beamer mit Full HD und Guter Bildqualität für wenig Geld. ein TV mit dieser Bildgröße kostet mehr als das 10facheFazitBild 9/10Bedienung 8/10Lautstarke 8/10Film & Gaming 10/10

Bonne image malgré des difficultés au niveau du signal HDMI. Le projecteur semble très sensible à la qualité des câbles HDMI et de la qualité du signal produit par les périphériques.Le niveau de bruit sonore du projecteur (ventilateur) est supportable dans un contexte de projection d'un film mais pour un usage bureautique en silence (présentation), cela pourrait gêner. Sachant que le bruit du ventilateur varie aussi selon la résolution d'image employée...Pas déçu sinon. L'image est très lumineux (à mettre au niveau minimum pour un visionnage dans le noir), peu d'effet arc en ciel (pour ma part). évidemment gros plus pour l'installation sur un meuble TV à quelques dizaines de centimètres du mur (pas de fixation à faire et de câble à faire passer partout).

Zugegeben, ich habe den Beamer als Amazon Warehouse Deals erworben für knappe 850 €.Für diesen Preis finde ich den Beamer sehr wertig. Das Bild ist auf etwa gleicher Ebene wie bei einem HD39 Darbee. Kurzdistanzprojektion ist aktuell einfach noch ein Stück teurer.Ich habe im Vergleich auch einen Xiaomi Laser Projektor getestet und konnte keine nennenswerte Qualitätssteigerung feststellen. Dafür war der Xiaomi aber deutlich lauter und teurer. Der Vorteil ist dort sicher die lange Lebensdauer der Lampe. Aber Hand aufs Herz - wer sich einen Beamer dieser Preisklasse zulegt bleibt in der Regel nicht länger als vier Jahre bei einem Modell.

très belle image,très bonne colorimétrie en revanche le son est plus que moyen,il sera nécessaire de passer sur des enceintes extérieuresmalgré tout je le recommande pour ses qualités générales
