Motorcycle Fuel Tank Cover for Rebel CMX 500 300 250 CMX500 CMX300 CMX250 2017-2026 Oil Gas Fairing Cowl Protector, Navy Blue

This was about a 10 minute install including taking my Honda rebel seat off and putting it back on. This tank installed with no tools. Pushed it on it suctioned I place. It fits perfectly still allowing me to open the gas lid. It matched factory gloss black pretty good. The biggest issue was the delay of shipping.

I ordered the green cover and i have no complaints. I like that it came with padding inside to not scratch the original tank and it makes it a snug fit eveywhere. Love the fact that it covers the the tank completely not like others where you can see the borders of the original tank. The color isn’t the nicest shade of green and has some glitter to it but it has definitely grown on me plus i bought it to personalize it later on so no biggie. Overall 10/10

It is plastic and unpainted but it fits good and looks great. I dented the tank so instead of buying a new tank for 500$ this is a quick good option for now. It is fairly bendy plastic so easy to install and I think it will hold for a long time.

Okay price at about $100 compared to other choices. Nice material. Did not come with instructions. Contacted seller who wrote back that it was simple to install and to let him know my issue(s) and he would answer back. Anyway, I went on YouTube and found competitors' videos, which answered my questions. I was about to install when I noticed the matte color did not match my Honda factory color and the finish was not consistently applied--there were some matte areas and some shiny/streaky areas. Returned product as it did not seem to match the quality I was looking for in a part that would be so frequently noticed.

Could definitely be cheaper considering it’s made of a hard plastic material but it definitely looks great.

Fan-freaking-tastic! My fuel tank was accidentally dinged and the shop has a replacement on backorder. Whi.e I wait, this cover went on. I love ot so much that when my fuel tank is finally replaced, I'm going to keep on rocking this bad boy! Very hapoy!

The dye they use is not uv resistant.

I'm not sure what everyone is complaining about regarding the gap at the bottom. But mine fit just right and popped into place. I really suggest making sure you stick the protection pad stickers in the right place following the photo guide provided in this listing. I have the rebel 500 2023 s edition. Overall gave it a really good feel and look. The only down side is that it covers the Honda logo, as you can see in my photos Ive put my own Honda logo stickers as well as the tank grip pads. I guess it allowed me to add a personal touch to it. Still worth the $$ and the cheapest one I could find and does the job, to protect the tank...

The cover works partly but does not fit properly. It does not cover the bottom of the tank properly. What a shame. Otherwise the look is good, the material is good for the price. I was told by the shop that it is normal for the cover to be deformed!?
