On day 6 they were still there, that was two weeks ago and there are no more droppings in the shed or anywhere else. I am not sure of this was just the one rat or there were others, but now there are none. It obviously works slow, and takes a while to kill. I have about 5 blocks left, so would recommend to anyone buying them to get plenty, as if I'd got only 12 or so, I would say they hadn't worked. Can anyone confirm if they have seen any dead rats after this so I know it actually works.** A: Yes, they do work. We put out 4 blocks the first night. They all went. Second night, two blocks, they went. Third night two blocks they went. The same day that we saw the blocks had gone, we noticed no rat droppings. Later in the day, we found a dying rat near some flower pots. We have used these often over the years. With success. **Q: Will this work on rats in garden. Honest answers plz** A: We live in the country next to a river. We get rats and mice every year. We use this every time and it always works, although it does take 2-3 feeds and about 5 days for the rats to die off. We have used this in our outbuildings and it has not failed us yet. Unfortunately, we tried a number of humane deterents but all to no avail. So, as a last resort, we opted for the poison route - something we had successfully used a number of years ago. I still had the bait boxes - and I reutilised them loaded with some of these blocks. After a few days, all evidence of the mice has disappeared. But, I will leave the bait boxes in situ (under kitchen units and behind disused fireplaces etc) for a couple of weeks just to be sure..... NOTE. These are relatively small bait-blocks delivered in a vastly over-sized plastic container (see photo)! We use nitrile gloves when handling the blocks or bait-boxes. So, this may not be our favoured way of preventing rodent infestations, but it certainly is effective.
