Counterfeit? Who Knows? *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2019* I love the soft feel of this sweater but I am very wary. Could I have received a counterfeit or is the manufacturer/seller not following garment labeling laws? To my surprise, the garment I received had no label attached to it listing the material. So I did a little research. Per the Textile and Wool Acts, all garments sold in the United States must feature clear labeling regarding their fiber contents and the label(s) must remain attached to the garment until it reaches the consumer, which means that the FTC-required information cannot be included on hang tags. The sweater I received had hang tags with most --but not all-- of the required information. Again, most notably missing is the fiber content of the garment, which is a big deal to me. Also missing is the required registered identification number (RN) of the manufacturer, importer, or corporate entity handling the sale. Sooo ... as comfortable as the sweater feels, I'm not comfortable keeping it.
